"It is a "great injustice" that the African continent, with its population of 1.3 billion, is not represented at the UN Security Council, Turkey's president said on Saturday. The summit will continue with a meeting of foreign ministers Dec. 17", said President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the summit.
"I commend Recep Tayyip Erdogan for sustaining a platform that continues to advance and promote mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkey and African countries. This Summit is an important mechanism for development cooperation", tweeted Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed who is attending the summit.
