ADDIS ABABA, NOVEMBER 08, 2021 — Ethiopia begins providing national examination to more than 600,000 12th grade students today in more than 2,000 exam stations except in areas occupied by the US backed Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) terrorists. These exams decide the students' chances for tertiary education.
The National Education Assessment and Examinations Agency (NEAEA) said it is planning to provide national examination in 2nd round in conflict ridden areas of Wag-Himra and North Wollo zones of Amhara region. It said it will provide psychological support to students from these areas before the exams.

However, in Tigray things still remain dire. In spite of the TPLF's 30 year rule over Tigray, children still leave in destitution as they did 30 years ago. Today things are even much worse as they are more likely to attend military training than go to school. And the group still seems much more interested in war, as it was 40 years ago, than attend to the needs of its people.
