Ethiopia finally confronts WHO Chief and TPLF diplomat Dr. Tedros Adhanom in a letter

Dr. Tedros Adhanom is a member of the Executive Committee of the terrorist designated Marxist-Leninist group, the TPLF ADDIS ABABA, JANUARY 13, 2022 — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia said that Ethiopia has officially submitted a letter to the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO) objecting the Director-General of WHO, Dr. Tedros Adhanom's moral, legal and professional standing that threatened WHO's organizational integrity. ADDIS ABABA, JANUARY 10, 2022 — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said t he Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) is preparing for yet another round of attack which the Prime Minister called its "7th TPLF mistake". During the inauguration of the Ministry of Defense headquarters yesterday , rhe Prime Minister said TPLF is provoking Ethiopian forces who have stood their grounds from left and right. He said when his government decided to apologize to Ethiopians during the hours of change in 2018, TPLF refused follow suit and made its first historical mistake. The second mistake the Prime Minister cited was when Prosperity Party (PP) was formed. He said had the TPLF truly stood for the needs of Tigrayans, it would have either stayed within PP or could have at least divided itself and remained partially within PP. Alewuha Bridge rebuilt after TPLF destroyed it during retreat

  ADDIS ABABA, JANUARY 06, 2022 — The Alewuha bridge connecting Woldiya with Kobo was restored after it was destroyed in early December 2021 by Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) fighters as they retreated into Tigray.   The bridge was destroyed with heavy explosives and has made transporting humanitarian assistance into Kobo difficult. The 55 meter bridge was restored within 10 days time and it is now capable of handling 60 tonnes of load. The destruction of the bridge is typical of the TPLF's strategy of war in Amhara and Afar. The group has destroyed over four thousand schools and ransacked more than three thousand health facilities in both Amhara and Afar regions.

US Special Envoy Feltman to make last-ditch effort to save TPLF

ADDIS ABABA, JANUARY 06, 2022 – The United States Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Jeffrey Feltman will be visiting Ethiopia today amid reports of his departure from his post as a Special Envoy to the Horn. Fetlman has become very unpopular among Ethiopians due to his attempt to reinstate the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) back to power. Today's visit marks the Special Envoys last attempt to rescue the infamous TPLF which was designated terrorist group by the Ethiopian Parliament in May 2021 along with its partner Oromo Liberation Army (OLA). Unlike Fetlman, Ethiopians including the government does not see the TPLF as a force for good especially after its fighters recently massacred thousands of civilians, raped women and destroyed thousands of civilian infrastructures in Amhara and Afar without taking into consideration the atrocities it committed during its brutal 27 year rule on Ethiopians. Ministry of Education calls on Ethiopian Diaspora to help rebuild schools destroyed by TPLF

"A country cannot stand without its educational institutions. Education is the basis for everything. We need a generation that will responsibly take over the affairs of this country tomorrow. We build this generation today. But the educational institutions that are responsible in building this generation are heavily damaged", read the statement from the Ministry of Education released this afternoon. Due to the TPLF terrorist invasion of Amhara and Afar, 703 schools were completely destroyed, 3,887 schools incurred partial damage and 1.9 million students are forced to be out of school. Mass graves uncovered at a school in Raya Kobo

ADDIS ABABA, JANUARY 03, 2022 – In Robit Secondary School, Raya Kobo, Amhara region, 19 graves were uncovered out of which three were mass graves, each containing about 30 bodies, according to the Ministry of Education. The graves were put there when the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) fighters had occupied Raya Kobo Woreda for over five months and made the school their camping location. Since their occupation, the TPLF terrorists had looted and destroyed over 129 schools in Raya Kobo alone. The destruction of schools had followed similar patterns elsewhere in Amhara and Afar which is not just about causing destruction to government property but also ensuring children in these regions will not be able to return to their education in the future. When it was operational, Robit Secondary School, used to provide education to over 1,800 children.

Teachers to return to schools ravaged by the TPLF

ADDIS ABABA, JANUARY 03, 2022 – Hayk and Kombolcha Secondary School teachers say they are ready to return to teach despite their schools not being restored from the damages caused by the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) invaders, according to the Ministry of Education. Ethiopia passes law to encourage an all inclusive national dialogue

House of People’s Representative (HoPR) ADDIS ABABA, DECEMBER 29, 2021 – Ethiopia’s House of People’s Representative (HoPR) approved the draft Proclamation 1265/2014 for the establishment of the National Dialogue Commission today during its second special session held with Legal, Justice and Democracy Permanent Committee. The draft proclamation received a majority vote with 13 votes against it and one abstention.  Parliament member Dr. Desalegn Chanie, National Movement of Amhara Party, objected the rush to establish the commission at a time Ethiopians in the north are in difficult situation to express their opinions. Kombolcha Hospital partially begins operation after being ransacked by TPLF fighters

  ADDIS ABABA, DECEMBER 29, 2021 – Kombolcha Hospital, which had been ransacked and looted by the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) fighters when they occupied Kombolcha town in November, has begun partial operation after acquiring some medical equipment. Dr. Tefera Gobeze, Medical Director of the hospital, told Ethiopian News Agency (ENA) that the TPLF fighters looted the hospital and destroyed those materials which they could not carry with them. Starting last week, the hospital began providing emergency services and services for pregnant women. The hospital also began providing surgery after receiving medicines and material support from Alert Hospital, a government administered hospital in Addis Ababa. TPLF converted Churches and Mosques into military camps
